Vertical two-point perspective is a variation of two-point perspective in which the two vanishing points are not horizontal, as is typical, but vertical: one at the top and one at the bottom. This approach is used when the viewer is looking up at an object or looking down at it, such as a tall building or tower. Lines that would normally run vertically in this image will converge toward either the top or bottom vanishing point, creating the effect of dramatic height or depth. Horizontal lines, however, remain parallel.
