It was worth it: the photographer burned the drone for spectacular shots of a volcanic eruption in Iceland
In some places, the drone flew literally a meter away from a lava flow with temperatures over 1000 °C.
Icelandic photographer Gardar Olaf sacrificed his drone for spectacular shots of the Fagradalsfjall volcano eruption. To capture the incredible beauty that unfolded 35 kilometers from Reykjavik, the man sent a quadcopter into the sky. The equipment that burned in the crater of the volcano made it possible to take truly incredible shots.
