Incredible beauty: American David Popa creates unique portraits on ice

Popa was born and raised in New York City and currently lives with his family and paints in Finland. His frescoes are so large that they can only be seen from a bird's eye view, and some only at the moment of painting.

The artist has to work in extreme conditions, since the ice can crack at any moment.
