Volumetric 3D cakes come in simple and complex designs; work on them is more labor-intensive compared to regular cakes. “For example, to make a cake in the form of a panel house, it was first necessary to create a model from plaster, on which a mold was then cast to make a chocolate cast. Only then were the balconies and windows made from mastic.”
