A craftsman from France creates unusual lamps from old spare parts (28 photos)
Pierre Kucoyanis works in a workshop in Valais de Chevreuse, near Paris. He produces real masterpieces of art. All of his lamps are fully functional and each has a unique shape.
Pierre's work is inspired by 1950s design and fiction. He designs his lamps using real components from any old machine - from motorcycles and cars to vacuum cleaners and other household appliances.
Pierre's lamps look like space machines from steampunk comics. The master prefers aluminum to a greater extent, but also uses steel, glass and rubber. Each work is absolutely unique.
