Soviet bus stops through the eyes of a Canadian photographer (25 photos)
Thirty thousand kilometers, fourteen countries and 159 photographs. Canadian photographer Christopher Herwig is preparing to release an album with images of bus stops installed during the Soviet era.
“I realized that behind the Iron Curtain, millions of people lived, created and pushed the boundaries of art,” Herwig explained the idea of his project. To date, this is the most complete and diverse collection of photographs from Estonia, Abkhazia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
