New York-based photographer Jamie Beck teamed up with web designer Kevin Burg to create a series of animated photographs.

This is real art, on the verge of photography and video. Jamie calls these photographs “cinemagraphs”; they are no longer photographs, but not yet cinematographs. Kevin used some new technique in these GIF photos.
