Tired gondolas are sleeping. Venice at night by Thibault Poirier (11 photos)
Thibaut Poirier filmed Sleeping Venice, of course, at night. As the photographer says, in the city on the water there is less light pollution than in other large cities, which makes it easier to capture the beautiful starry sky above the houses, to which gondolas and boats cling.
Parisian Thibaud Poirier spent most of his life exploring different cities and cultures. He called Buenos Aires, Houston, Montreal and Tokyo home. It is not surprising that the self-taught photographer’s interests turned to architecture and the urban environment. He focuses on capturing the beauty and energy of places, with a special focus on night photography
