Photographer Mark O'Neill made an extensive trip to the countries of the former Yugoslavia, photographing monuments of the socialist era. Even local residents no longer remember what these monstrous moments are dedicated to. O'Neill compares them to "monuments of ancient civilizations buried in the sands of time" - and, looking at the architectural monsters, it is difficult to disagree with him.
