British photographer spent a year capturing portraits of big cats (15 photos)
Fashion and portrait photographer Ralph Peru spent a year capturing the big cats on camera before capturing these breathtaking images.
Ralph did not film the animals from afar, but installed the equipment directly on their territory. The animals had time to get used to the photographer and his things. No one forced the cats to pose—they could come and go as they pleased.
Ralph cheated and visited his models during feeding time, so they associated him with something pleasant and they didn’t mind sitting with him. The photographer spent a year with lions, tigers and other big cats and managed to thoroughly study their character.
And his portraits turned out so bright that the animals look just like celebrities in them!
