2-hour diving with giant sea devils (21 photos)
Renowned underwater photographer Daniel Sass advocates for the conservation and protection of the marine environment. In his works he shows the beauty and fragility of the underwater world. Don't forget that the ocean is the main source of oxygen. Daniel dived into the waters of the Hin Daeng Reef off the Andaman coast of Thailand for two hours to document the endangered stingray species.
The manta ray (also known as the giant sea devil) is the largest species of stingray, its body width reaches 7 m, weight - 1350 kg. Stingrays feed on zooplankton: shrimp, krill, planktonic crustaceans. The International Union for Conservation of Nature has assigned this species the conservation status of Vulnerable.
The shooting was carried out using a Sony NEX7 camera in an underwater housing with two external strobes.
