The simple life of the Boyki people in western Ukraine (21 photos)
Boyki are a small ethnic group of Ukrainians living on the northern and southern slopes of the Carpathians. It is believed that their ancestors were the Celtic tribes of the Boii, who migrated from Bavaria and Bohemia and then assimilated with the Slavs. Polish photographer Jan Bryczynski visited one of the Boyk villages and made an excellent photo report about their life.
