The night sky astrophotographed by Brad Goldpaint (28 photos)
Brad Goldpaint is one of the renowned photographers whose work has been presented numerous times to NASA and has also been published in such reputable publications as National Geographic, Discover, Wired and The Huffington Post.
The former architecture student began hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, which runs along the Pacific coast from the Mexican border in California to British Columbia, Canada, in 2010. Over time, he began to take photography more seriously, gaining experience. Soon, outdoor photography became a daily ritual that helped me document and share my experiences,” he says.
And pretty soon he became interested in astrophotography. His most famous works are photographs of the night sky over Crater Lake National Park and Sparks Lake, which he took in Oregon, where he captured the northern lights.
