The Moscow Center for Documentary Photography is hosting an exhibition of documentary photographer Dmitry Markov. Despite the fact that Dmitry is not a professional artist, he really likes to photograph everything that others are used to not noticing. Dmitry’s photographs depict a whole life, the existence of which also needs to be remembered. “Some of my stories seem dreary to the audience, if not downright gloomy. On the contrary, I feel peace?: when this melancholy can be formulated in text or photography, it seems to me that it becomes less inside me,” writes the author of the works in his photo book “Russia. #Draft".
