Andrey Dareev was born in 1978 in the city of Semipalatinsk. In 1999 he graduated from the Novoaltaysk State Art School. In 2006 he graduated from the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture Ilya Glazunov landscape workshop under the guidance of Professor A.P. Afonin.
During his studies, he participated in youth exhibitions and competitions. From 1997-1999 was awarded a ministerial scholarship in the “Young Talents of Altai” competition.

Every year he made creative trips to the Altai Mountains, Salair, and Eastern Kazakhstan. Since 2010, member of the Moscow Union of Artists. Member of the Union of Russian Artists. Regular participant of numerous exhibitions. The works of Andrei Dareev are in state museums and private collections. The artist’s multifaceted work includes genre painting and portraiture, graphics and still lifes, but landscape occupies a special place in it.
