Carol Evans was born in Vancouver, Canada.
After graduating from high school, she entered the university in Victoria, but did not study there for long, as she was only interested in painting. For some time the artist worked as an illustrator of children's literature, but soon developed a serious interest in landscape painting, and Carol moved to the islands of the west coast of British Columbia.
She devoted all her work to depicting these beautiful places.
Crashing waves, magnificent sunsets, birds soaring over the water's edge - all this comes to life in Carol's work.
Her ability to create intensity of color in watercolor and her attention to the subtleties of light and detail have shaped her unique style.
Since 1981, Carol has had 15 successful solo exhibitions in a variety of locations: Vancouver, Salt Spring Island, Gabriola Island and Nanaimo. Collectors of watercolor paintings around the world show great interest in her work.
