Pavel Popov was born in 1966 in Perm.
In 1994 he entered the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, studied in the historical painting workshop under the guidance of Professor I.S. Glazunov.
For his academic success he received a scholarship from the President of the Russian Federation and was awarded a trip to Italy.
From 2000 to 2002 taught at the Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
Member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
