Urban Photo Awards 2023 finalists announced (23 photos)

The Urban Photo Awards jury has announced the full list of finalists. The photographer of the year was Russian Natalya Saprunova with a photograph dedicated to children bathing in the summer heat. Here are photographs that have received awards in categories such as “Streets”, “People”, “Space”, “Creative”.

1. Absolute winner: “We are going to escape from the abnormal heat,” Natalya Saprunova





“On the Kola Peninsula, beyond the Arctic Circle, the heat peaks in June. Temperatures of +30°C are 18°C higher than the maximum average values, which have lasted for 10 days. The girls go swimming in the stream near the house in Lovozero.”
