Semyon Fedorovich Fedorov (1867-1910) - student of the outstanding painter I. Shishkin. But Semyon Fedorov came to this profession late. At first he entered military service, during which he studied painting as an amateur. Fame as a painter came to Fedorov at the end of the 19th century.

His landscapes began to appear at academic exhibitions, and were received with great enthusiasm by viewers and critics. The master's favorite genre is forest landscapes. The artist reveals to the viewer the most intimate moments of the life of Russian nature: the quiet flow of a forest river, bending branches of birches, gentle sunlight scattered in the branches of pine trees.
