Chinese artist Zang Wenxin
The master's sketchy and impasto painting technique, which is not entirely typical of Chinese artists, is attractive. Here, rather, sketches of Russian Itinerants are visible. And although the sketch itself is a rough sketch, a “quote” for a full-fledged work, Zang’s paintings look solid and complete.
It amazes the imagination how an artist, taking several colors at once with a wide brush, makes a confident blow, obtaining a unique color fragment.
A comparison involuntarily comes to mind with wet watercolors and calligraphy, where corrections are in principle impossible.
