The winter is coming. And the most important winter holiday is approaching - and creative people are starting to prepare for it in advance. A Canadian named David Irwin under the nickname TheGnarledBranch, for example, makes unique Christmas tree decorations, and at the same time gives a second life to old burnt out light bulbs. David gives old light bulbs a second life - and paints them, drawing a variety of subjects. These could be winter landscapes, animals, funny scenes, or even heroes of Internet memes. "I transform burnt-out light bulbs into unique holiday decorations. The designs on the toys range from vintage and traditional motifs to pop culture and kitsch. I usually paint the back side with red or green paint," the artist writes.
