Perhaps many will agree that our good old carpets on the walls are some kind of portal to an unknown and mysterious world. You could spend hours peering at their patterns and your imagination would unravel a variety of images in them. Artist Yan Yushin created a very interesting and nostalgic project called "Carpet Bestiary". He painted different monsters based on carpet patterns.
