The Italian self-taught artist Cristoforo Scorpiniti, known under the pseudonym Crisco Art, has been painting with “double bottom” for several years. They tell the viewer two stories: in the light of day - one, and in the dark - another. This is how Crisco Art creates its own magical world, and fantasy and luminescent paints help it in this.
Cristoforo used to work as a real estate agent, but then lost his job and was forced to return home to southern Italy. However, instead of feeling sorry for himself, he became interested in something new.
He now has 1.2 million followers on Facebook and more than 580 thousand followers on Instagram. “My biggest dream is to open my own gallery in major cities around the world so that everyone can admire my paintings,” says the artist.
