Fernando Saenz Pedrosa is a contemporary Spanish realist artist. Born in Palencia, Spain, in 1947. As a child, his talent as a draftsman became very obvious - so obvious that in 1965, at the age of 18, he easily entered a prestigious architecture school in Madrid. From 1965 to 1970, Pedrosa's explorations as an artist became more intense. Studying at an architectural school helped him become a mature draftsman and, subsequently, combine his innate talent as an artist and his skill, which he acquired at this school with painting.
