Henry Victor Lesur (b. 1860, fl. 1887-1900) French artist. Born in Roubaix on April 28, 1863 and received his formal training at the atelier of Francois Flameng - professor at l'Ecole de Beau-Artz. Under his tutelage Leseur received academic training.Lesser showed many paintings at the Paris Salon between 1880 and 1890. His style was partly inspired by 18th century painters such as Jean-Honoré Fragonard and François Boucher. He gave his name to a prize awarded at an exhibition of French artists.
