English artist Lucy Grossmith is self-taught. A passionate love for painting, participating in various art exhibitions and illustrating books for the last fifteen years, has made her a passion for work. Lucy lives with her family in beautiful Suffolk and works in her garden studio. She grew up in the countryside, so she always found inspiration in the surrounding nature. In the early 90s, while living in Wales, Lucy illustrated books for children. Then she went to London, where over the course of eight years she worked her way up from an illustrator and art editor to an assistant to the artistic director of the creative department of Camden Graphics' studio, continuing to exhibit her paintings. At the same time, the artist met her future husband Den, and in 2002 she left the studio to devote more time to creativity. Soon, the couple moved to Suffolk, where their son Jack was born. While raising her son, Lucy Grossmith finds time to paint her kind pictures, transmitting positive energy to the audience, sharing with them the little joys of rural life.
