Born in Nebraska, an agricultural American outback.
He studied at the Kansas City Art Institute, where he received a bachelor's degree / Bachelor of Fine Arts /. Then he worked as an artist-designer for Hallmark Cards and DaySpring Cards for ten years.
Today he deals only with painting. He developed his own recognizable style, which can be attributed to neo-impressionism. Prefers to work en plein air.
