The stone pavements, balconies covered with bright fragrant flowers, mysterious courtyards, old-fashioned lanterns, historic squares. An atmosphere evocative of memories and pleasure. Great music, laughter and beauty is everywhere, the expectation of meeting something pleasant. That’s why I especially often turn to the Art Nouveau era. I can’t imagine it without the streets and squares that I walked along, as they might have been at the turn of the century.” Christa Kieffer
