Alfred-Arthur Brunel De Neuville (Alfred-Arthur Brunel De Neuville) - French painter, master of still life, animal painter. Born in Paris. Graduated from the Paris Academy of Arts. In 1879 he became a member of the Association of French Artists. The main theme of creativity was sentimental scenes with pets. Particularly famous were his works with cats, playing kittens and entire cat families. Lived and worked in Paris. He was very popular during his lifetime. Personal exhibitions were held in various galleries in France in 1889, 1896, 1908 and 1909. Works are kept in museums in France and private collections in many countries.
