Antoine Blanchard (Marcel Masson) - (1910 - 1988), was born in France on November 15, 1910 in a small village near the banks of the Loire. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Rennes, upon completion of his studies he was awarded the school's highest award: Le Prix du Minister. In 1932, he left Rennes, entered and successfully graduated from the Paris School of Fine Arts. A few years later the artist received the Prix de Rome. The artist has a clearly expressed love for Paris and its streets. Subtle touches of light and shimmering tones produce a wonderful feeling of harmony, brightness and light.
