Sergey Aleksandrovich Repyov about himself: Born in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region in 1959. Before he could finish school, he rushed to storm the Krokodil magazine, dreaming of becoming a famous cartoonist. But he entered the MAI to study. Apparently, the dual nature of Gemini, the sign to which I belong, had an effect. It was first published in Krokodil in 1980, but the main peak of cooperation occurred in 1990 - 1992, when the smell of change was acutely felt, and I really wanted to express my attitude to what was happening. Subsequently, I was amazed at how true my “prophecies” on the pages of the magazine turned out to be. At the same time, I decided to try myself as an illustrator. Worked with the publishing houses "Radio and Communications", "Mnemosyne", "Prosveshchenie" and "Karapuz". From 2003 to 2005 my cartoons appeared weekly on the pages of the online newspaper “Big Change” of the Russian Defense Ministry. Since 2005 I have been running a section of political cartoons
for the weekly publication of Russian conservatives "TIME". I came up with and drew almost two hundred humorous postcards. I draw short funny stories (strips) for the magazine "Schrumdirum" ("Flip and Flapp"), the author's online comic series "Knights of the Turnip!", humorous drawn stories "Pal Palych".
Since 2001 I have been a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia.
