Artist Stanislav Pobytov was born in 1969. Currently lives and works in the city of Tver.

The basis of his work are landscapes of central Russia, made in the style of Dutch painters in combination with modern techniques. This method is the best way to convey the effects of a light-air environment. An example of this is a series of works under the general title “The Magic of Sunset,” where the plot is given secondary importance, and experiments with color and space come first.

The artist’s early works show the influence of surrealism, which, in combination with forest landscapes, gave an unexpected result.
This is how fabulous, slightly gloomy paintings with views of nature appeared, inhabited by strange creatures, where human faces can be discerned in the treetops, and mushrooms cannot be found, because they can easily be confused with trees.

The artist is distinguished by his enormous capacity for work and inexhaustible imagination, which is probably why Stanislav, despite his young age as an artist, has had many exhibitions in Tver and several personal ones in Moscow galleries, which were particularly successful; most of the works were bought up by domestic art connoisseurs , and by foreign experts.
