Jim Hansel is an American artist. He has been drawing since the age of 15; he received his bachelor's degree after graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1985.
He sees the world differently than we see it. At age 12, he was diagnosed with a degenerative vision condition and was considered virtually blind, but despite his disability, he learned to overcome visual limitations.
Through hard work and perseverance, he learned to create magnificent pictures of nature with the help of a magnifying glass, combining wild nature with beautiful landscapes.
He created more than 100 paintings, which are very popular among collectors.
