Born on January 6, 1976 in Moscow.

From 1987 to 1994 he studied at the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum at MGAHI named after. V. I. Surikova. Graduated from the Lyceum with a gold medal.

From 1994 to 2000 he studied at the Moscow State Academic Institute named after. V.I. Surikov at the Faculty of Painting in the workshop of Professor V.N. Zabelin. During his studies at the institute, S. Brusilov was awarded first prize in a drawing competition held by the Moscow State Academy of Arts. IN AND. Surikov. The artist’s drawings were included in the album “The Best Drawings of Students of the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after. V.I. Surikov" In 1997, a Kunsttwege scholarship holder.


Internship at the Academy of Arts in Karlsruhe, Germany. In 2000 he graduated from MGAHI named after. Surikov with honors. For a series of diploma works, “Russian North” was praised by the council.

From 2001 to 2006 he worked at the Russian Academy of Arts. Creative painting workshop of academicians A.P. and S.P. Tkachev.

Since 2000, Stanislav Brusilov has been a member of the Moscow Union of Artists.

In 2002 he was awarded a diploma from the Russian Union of Artists.

In 2005 he was awarded a medal of the Russian Union of Artists.

In 2006, the artist was awarded the Silver Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts for his contribution to the fine arts of Russia.

In 2008 he was awarded a diploma from the Cultural Heritage Foundation.

Stanislav Brusilov was twice awarded a scholarship from the President of the Russian Federation and many awards at all-Russian drawing and painting competitions.

The works of S. A. Brusilov are in the Samara Art Museum, the Museum of the Moscow Union of Artists, the collections of the Citybank of Moscow and London, the Bank of Hawaii, the Academy of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Sechenov Academy, the Moscow Patriarchate, in the collection of the Surgutneftegaz company, in Moscow City Duma, in museums, galleries and private collections in Russia and more than twenty countries around the world.

The artist has more than 70 Russian and foreign exhibitions to his credit.
The artist’s works are published in the albums “Landscape. Russian painting. Large collection", "Portrait. Russian painting. Large collection", the album "1000 Russian Artists" of the publishing house "Bely Gorod", catalogs of exhibitions of the State Tretyakov Gallery as well as in other albums, catalogs and publications.
