Born on November 16, 1968 in the city of Slantsy, Leningrad Region.
1986 – graduated from the Secondary Art School at the Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg).
1986–1992 – graduated from the book graphics workshop of the Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg).
Since 1989, he has been actively working with publishing houses in St. Petersburg, and since 1996 he has been illustrating publications for children.
Since 1995 - member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Since 2006 - member of the St. Petersburg Watercolor Society.

1998 – exhibition “Landscapes of the Motherland” in the Lecture Hall of the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg).

1999 – Prize (Public-Prize) at the 1st International Biennale of Contemporary Watercolor.
2000 – II degree diploma from the Board of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg at the exhibition “Young Artists of St. Petersburg”.
2001 – Prize (Public-Prize) at the II International Biennale of Contemporary Watercolor (Kunststation Kleinsassen, Germany).
2001 – Landrats Prize of the Fulda region (Preis des Landrats des Landkreises Fulda) at the II International Biennale of Contemporary Watercolor (Kunststation Kleinsassen, Germany).
2007 – Medal “120 years of the Society of Russian Watercolorists”.
2008 – Grand Prix named after. Academician Veniamin Khudoley at the IV International Biennale of Graphics in St. Petersburg "The Art of the Book with the Easel Graphics Section" for the presented design and illustrations for L. Carroll's book "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, told for young readers by the author himself."
