The Masandra Palace of Emperor Alexander III was rebuilt at the Upper Masandra on the Pivdenny Birch Krim. Nina's Palace Museum is a branch of the Alupka Palace and Park Museum-Reserve. The photographs taken by the author show both the external appearance of the Massandra Palace from different angles, as well as the interior of its internal premises.
The construction of the palace near the church in the name of the Beheading of John the Baptist began in 1881 by Prince S.M. Vorontsov is the heir to the Governor-General of Novorossiya M.S. Vorontsova. He chose for construction an area replete with picturesque rocks, grottoes and springs. The palace in the style of the times of Louis XIII was designed by the French architect Bouchard.
From 1892 to 1900, according to the project of Professor M.E. Messmacher, the construction of the palace ensemble continued with the introduction of many changes to the decor of the facade, expressed in the Art Nouveau style, the interior and the layout of the park. The construction was led by the architect O.E. Wegener.
