To be remembered. "Golden Age" of children's illustration. N. M. Kochergin (continued) (69 photos)
To be honest, modern publications for children repel me with their illustrations. Bright, ridiculous, often rendered using a computer, the heroes in them are somehow unreal. The situation is completely different in Soviet publications, and Kochergin’s illustrations, in my opinion, are real treasures. I am glad that children's books from those times have now begun to be republished.
I invite everyone to get acquainted with the work of a wonderful Soviet artist. Enjoy watching
Nikolai Mikhailovich Kochergin (1897-1974). This is one of the most prominent representatives of the “golden age” of children's illustration (1950-1960). The artist was born in Moscow, and lived most of his life in Leningrad. He studied at the Stroganov Art and Industrial School. Nikolai Mikhailovich had the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR, but “artist-storyteller” was often added to it. His works attract with their beauty, pleasant colors, kindness, and detailed images.

P.S. Подборка.
Сказочные герои в современных российских мультфильмах, отрисованные в полупридурковатом стиле "под Диснея", вызывают тошноту и отвращение — настолько пошло всё это выглядит. Спасибо...
