Artist Chris Bietow is a portrait painter. But the portrait painter is unusual. He paints portraits of animals. And he doesn’t just depict them on paper or canvas, but strives to express their character and personality. Before starting work, he asks the owner for a long time about his pet, listens to stories from his life - and, finally, paints a picture in which, he hopes, the soul of the animal is reflected.
