Stunning photos of traffic lights in the fog (7 photos)

Photographer Lucas Zimmermann took a series of photographs of traffic lights in heavy fog, highlighting the streams of multi-colored light. He took all the photos late at night near Weimar in Germany.

Zimmerman said he himself was fascinated by the way light looks in fog, and how photography in unusual circumstances can reveal the beauty of simple things that we usually don't notice in everyday life.

Zimmerman took the first photographs of traffic lights in the fog back in 2013, but three years later he returned to his idea and expanded the collection.
