Mexican artist Jorge Mendez Blake became famous for his installation El Castillo, which was first presented in 2007 in Guadalajara, Mexico, and has since been exhibited in many other countries. Recently, this installation, presented under the guise of a collage called “The Influence of One Book,” reached the Internet, where it began to gain great popularity. The installation consists of a solid brick wall built over a book, disrupting the entire order of the masonry. New bricks are used for each new installation, but the book is always the same - the unfinished novel “The Castle” by Franz Kafka.
