Number of files - 170 pieces. Various sizes, scanned at 400 dpi. Archive sizes are 100 and 89 MB.
Years of manufacture are somewhere around 80-85, some are younger. Some are just like postcards, with the invitation text written on the back. Some are turned around, on the reverse side. I understand that they have no artistic value and cannot compete with modern ones, except as a memory of those years, but I still love them very much. The scanner was able to capture the embossing on the postcards, but was unable to show the “golden” ink. Therefore, where it is dark, almost black, it is golden. I even tried these “golden” ones with a camera, but it still doesn’t work, only at an angle, which is no longer beautiful. There is also a folder in the archive with several mini-postcards, also from those years, as a keepsake.
The most common inscriptions are in Ukrainian; for some reason there are no inscriptions in Russian, except for the text of the invitation itself. Although “We kindly ask for fun,” in my opinion, sounds softer and more solemn than “We invite you to the wedding.”
