Clipper "Cutty Sark"
The sailing ship was launched in 1869. "Cutty Sark" is named after a witch who lived in the Scottish moors. The clipper was considered the pride of the English sailing fleet; it was the fastest sailing ship on the planet and received the nickname “Queen of the Oceans.” Immediately after its construction, the Cutty Sark transported tea and wool, and during the First World War, transported coal. The clipper turned out to be a real long-liver; it not only outlived all its peers, but also received eternal parking in a dry dock, became a museum, and excursions are given to it.
