The artist turned driftwood into beautiful sculptures of moving animals (10 photos)
Sculptor James Doran-Webb has been using pieces of driftwood for more than 10 years to create stunning creatures that look like they are in motion.
He collects the material to create his magnificent works of art along the banks of rivers in the Philippines, selecting specimens that are dense enough to withstand the humid tropical climate and sometimes frost for many years.
Webb works extremely meticulously, combining many small fragments that imitate hair or fur. The energy lines created by him hold the eye in a striking way and make it possible to immediately understand the incredible power of these animals.
