Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the Thames (9 photos)
In London, right in the waters of the Thames, a sculptural composition has appeared that twice a day makes all the citizens passing by freeze in place. The residents of Foggy Albion see an exciting picture: from the river waters at low tide the horsemen of the Apocalypse appear, which, according to their creator Jason Taylor, should supposedly remind people of global climate change caused directly by the harmful influence of man on nature.
The statues are installed near the British Parliament, near Vauxhall Bridge. Instead of heads, the heavy trucks have oil pumps, which symbolizes the negative impact of fossil fuels on our planet. The huge sculpture has a simple name - “Tide”. The fat horsemen represent the power of the oil tycoons, and the children on horses represent the future generation who will have to reap the benefits of industrialization.
