What could be more touching than funny baby photos? That's the thought that struck Rachel Hulin, mother of little Henry, who was bored to death while on maternity leave, spending her time solely with her child and the house. Before her son's birth, she worked as a photo editor, so she decided to create her own original photo project featuring her little one.

If children could fly, mothers would have no time for boredom, as the photographs in the "Flying Henry" series prove.

Rachel Hulin is a photographer, writer, and photo editor all rolled into one. Her "Flying Henry" series has become very popular, although the author didn't plan it. It all happened completely by accident.

After moving from Brooklyn to Rhode Island, Rachel Gulin was bored. She had recently become a mother and was forced to stay home with a small child. She wanted to dedicate herself to some new and exciting project.

The young mother struggled to understand and figure out for herself what motherhood really was, even though it seemed strange to her.

Rachel had the necessary knowledge and even some experience in landscape photography, as she was an experienced photo editor who had been working with photographs for nine years. She wanted to find her own unique way to capture beautiful scenes.

Rachel was initially skeptical about her ability to take levitation photographs. But after her first attempt, she realized she was quite good at it. So she and Henry set out on their "floating photographic journey" every day.

At first, Rachel Gulin took photographs close to home, but as her photos became more successful, she moved further afield, using the library, barns, and other locations for shooting.

Rachel posted photos of Flying Henry on Facebook, where a friend of hers who works at Time magazine saw them. Soon, the photos appeared on the Time photo blog and then took on a virtual life of their own.

But Rachel didn't want Henry to become just an internet meme, so she began looking for a way to use the online popularity of these photos for something more meaningful. After a while, PowerHouse Publishing approached her with an offer to include Henry's photos in a children's book, aptly titled "Flying Henry."
