“My Room”: a French photographer showed how the bedrooms of young people from different parts of the world differ (18 photos)
The project of the French artist of South African origin John Tekvray “My Room” will allow you to look into the rooms of completely different people from distant (or vice versa, very close) corners of the world.
It all started with photographing the rooms of friends and acquaintances in Paris, but over 6 years the project expanded to 55 countries and included more than a thousand people. All project participants were born in the 80s and 90s. The photos clearly show the differences between people of approximately the same generation, but who grew up in different cultures and with different levels of material wealth.
