Stunning photos of the Cheops pyramid from a bird's eye view (7 photos)
Ukrainian photographer Alexander Ladanivsky, in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, captured a bird's eye view of the Great Pyramid of Giza using a drone.
Back in 225 BC, the Great Pyramid of Giza was named one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Philo of Alexandria's list also included the Lighthouse of Alexandria and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. However, unlike these two ancient wonders, the pyramids have survived to this day. And thanks to stunning photographs by Ukrainian travel photographer Alexander Ladanivsky, now everyone can see these wonders from a bird's eye view.
Ladanivsky specializes in travel photography and captures unique landscapes around the world, from Tanzania to Norway. While his images alone are enough to spark wanderlust, he can also provide a perspective that even seasoned travelers lack. To capture these unique drone shots, the photographer collaborated with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. The drone flew directly over and around the Great Pyramid of Giza, giving the images a breathtaking view of the very top of the famous structure.
