An Artist Adds an Unexpected Cute Character to His Own Macro Photographs (17 Photos)

Macro photography and illustration may seem like they have nothing in common, but in fact they are not mutually exclusive. Indian artist Vimal Chandran skillfully combines these two forms of art and, as you will see in these photographs, creates an unexpectedly powerful combination.

According to the Kerala-based artist, instead of just documenting the tiny natural world through photography, he decided to add small stories to each of these photographs to make them more interesting. This is how the “yellow girl” appeared, who interacts with the macrocosm in an unusual way.
