Sergei Anisimov was born on March 31, 1961.

Received a diploma as a radio engineer from the Kyiv Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. He worked as an engineer at the Salekhard Aviation Enterprise for eighteen years.

Anisimov spends a lot of time traveling around the northern and arctic regions of the planet: Greenland, Canada, Norway, Fr. Wrangel, Franz Josef Land, Spitsbergen.

He devotes a large amount of time to filming his native land - Yamal.

He is the author of 10 albums. Winner of 1165 awards. Including 508 medals (267 gold) at international photo competitions in 62 countries.
