Lisbon-based Hugo Suissas creates magical, surreal images using complex perspective and unusual angles. In his works, he turns simple bridges and landscapes into fairy-tale places, and ordinary objects like keys, fruit and children's toys into magical props. Each photograph has its own story and intention, and they all help to see a boring, gray world in a new bright light.
“What inspires me in life as an artist is the realization that art and ideas can create miracles,” says Hugo. — I believe that creativity can be magical and can help solve serious problems in the world. My brain doesn't understand the word "stop" and since the world never stops either, I'd say it's a great combination. I’m a simple guy, I like simplicity and simple life.”
